Yet in discipleship today, we must come back to reengaging that first love for Jesus in our lives. This is the heart of the issue. Otherwise, the soul is empty and there is nothing that will anchor the inner life. What we need is a spiritual compass that will lead us to a grand adventure of faith with God.
